Coal India Recruitment 2011: Coal India Ltd (CIL) Adding 3,000 Execs
The Coal India recruitment 2011 is in full swing, as Coal India Ltd. (CIL) plans to induct about 3,000 executives this year. More will be inducted in the next three years in response to a shortage of employees in the executive positions at the world's largest coal miner.
According to Steel Guru, out of a total of 387,645 employees, only 15,431 of Coal India Ltd. workers were executives as of October 2010. The director of personnel and industrial relations of CIL said there's a gap in the executive level of around 4,000 employees. CIL will be using in-office promotions, as well as recruitment via advertisements and campus interviews. They expect to bring in 2,500 through their departmental promotions and advertisements, and around 400 through campus intakes.
Furthermore, it looks like there will be more Coal India recruitment going on for the next three years. They'll be looking to bring in about 1,500 employees. All of this is due to 12 years of non-recruitment for the company. Coal India Ltd. (CIL) is known as the world's largest coal miner and located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
